My works explore the seemingly infinite variety of shapes and forms that allow the natural beauty of the wood to be reflected aesthetically in the vessels I create. They are one-of-a-kind, hollow-formed, classic vessels with a contemporary touch to emphasize form and balance (design).

All work is created utilizing a lathe and a variety of specialty hand tools. Some works include the process of specialized surface texturing, tinting and bleaching to further enhance the beauty of the wood. The surface finish is a high quality catalyzed lacquer or an automotive clearcoat with a built-in UV inhibitor that helps to preserve the wood and maintain the color.
